Manor House is situated in Plymouth, Devon, a city which is steeped in maritime history. From Drakes battle with the Spanish Armada,to the Pilgrim Fathers leaving the Mayflower steps, Plymouth has played an important part in history. These days, it has all the facilities one would expect of the Westcountry’s largest city, ranging from shops to a library, churches, banks and good medical services, including the major Derriford hospital. There are many attractions such as Plymouth Hoe, the Barbican and Dartmoor National Park all within easy access. Transport links to the rest of the country are good, via the A38 ‘Devon Expressway’ and the M5, or by train.

Facilities at Manor House

Manor House is a large, detached house in its own garden and grounds. It provides a variety of care services and is registered for elderly and dementia care. Most rooms are en suite and have central heating, a nurse call alarm, television point and are fully furnished. Wifi access can be provided on request. We will be happy to adapt if you wish to bring your own furniture or change the decoration of the room – just ask. The home has a lift to the first floor and the communal rooms include two large lounges, a dining room and a beautiful large double glazed conservatory. Manor House provides accommodation to the highest standard for the more discerning person, but the most important feature is its happy, relaxed atmosphere!
